I tried to do a search, but your post is a bit confusing. !?!
It isn’t really necessary most of the time to use the add files button.
To add a link to your post, just copy the address from the page you are referring to, and paste it into your post as you type it.
Try it out – then we can more readily be 'on the same page'

edit: finally figured out what you were referring to.

Phew! Found it in the end and "Added to Favorites" as the following URL

http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=antics%20AND%20collection%3Aopensource_audio%20AND%20subject%3A%22GratefulDead%26Friends%22&;sort=-publicdate&page=1

They look like good collections, well worth checking out.

On a similar subject, can anyone help me with something? I'm sure that many people have compiled personal "mixtapes", like these ANTICS ones, of individual songs from the archive. Are they available anywhere in the m3u "playlist" format?

In other words I hope to see a list of the compilation's contents; paste it as a playlist into Winamp; edit the list (of links to individual song streams) if I wish; and then let Winamp automatically connect to the streamable files while I listen (or write them to my hard disk).

Where might archives of such m3u's exist? What sound quality is achievable?
